The Chemicals Forum Association and Messukeskus Helsinki have decided to organise the next Helsinki Chemicals Forum conference on 27-28 April 2021. Originally, the 2020 conference was to take place in June 2020 but had to be postponed to 2021 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The programme of and the registration for the 2020 Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF) conference were published earlier this year. On 19 March 2020 the organisers published a press release to communicate their decision to postpone the 2020 conference planned for 4-5 June to next year due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Finnish and international partner organisations that actively support the annual event have welcomed that decision.
The Chemicals Forum Association and Messukeskus Finland have now decided to fix the 2021 conference on 27 and 28 April 2021. The 2020 programme, available on the HCF website, will inspire the programme of next year’s conference.
At Messukeskus, the rescheduled HCF conference has found its new applicable date in the combination of several synergic events. Messukeskus Helsinki will host the conference simultaneously with ChemBio Finland, the trade fair for the chemistry and biotechnology professionals in the Nordic Countries and Baltic regions, and with PulPaper, the leading international event in chemistry, process industry and wood processing industries. ECHA also plans its own annual Conference in the same week.
“We welcome everybody to Helsinki next April. Together with all our international partners we will update the 2020 programme for next year conference and plan to open registration before year end,” says Geert Dancet, Secretary General of Helsinki Chemicals Forum.
The programme of the next Helsinki Chemicals Forum will be updated on www.helsinkicf.eu.
