Messukeskus Helsinki follows the coronavirus situation closely

Updated on March 12 at 9:00 am

Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre works closely with authorities and monitors the coronavirus situation carefully. We follow the instructions from The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare and other authorities. The safety of our clients and personnel is of primary importance to us. We train our personnel continuously so we can react quickly to changing situations.

The current view of the Finnish authorities and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has been, that there is no need to cancel public events in Finland. We are monitoring the situation continuously.

Messukeskus is built as a venue suitable for large public events and therefore hygiene is well taken into account in our premises with, for instance, touch-free faucets and disinfecting hand sanitizers in the toilets. All our restaurant partners as well as our cleaning partner invest in high standard hygiene and follow the authorities’ quality and hygiene control regulations.

Please observe advice and instructions issued by the authorities:

• avoid handshakes, hugging and cheek kissing
• take care of hand hygiene, please make use of hand infectants found on the Messukeskus’ premises
• use paper tissues and paper handkerchiefs. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve.
