Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre ends its mask recommendation

Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre has updated its mask policy. A mask is no longer required at the exhibition centre’s premises and events, but customers can still use a mask if they wish. The same applies to the staff of Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

The decision is based on the instructions from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare.

An exception at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre may be guest events where an external organiser rents the premises for his own use. During these events, the organiser decides on the mask policy in the premises he rents for himself. If masks are in use, the staff of the exhibition centre will also follow the organiser’s policy in the event area.

Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre will continue to follow official instructions and carefully monitor the safety of its premises. The exhibition centre has high-quality air conditioning, a high level of hygiene and adequately space to safely arrange even large events.
