Child Fair is rescheduled to spring 2021

Child Fair and HupiCon, OutletExpo and Pet Friends which are arranged simultaneously are rescheduled from August to spring 2021. The events will be arranged at Messukeskus 7-9 May 2021. Local & Organic Food Fair exhibition will be arranged next time in connection with Spring Fair 25-28 March 2021.

The Corona virus has upset the plans of many event organizers this spring. The decision was made to reschedule the Child Fair event, planned for August, to next spring. This way we will together with exhibitors and performers be able to ensure the success of the event.

- Preparations for such a large event package requires enormous planning by us as well as by our clients. Therefore we had to make a final decision regarding the arrangements of the event latest in the beginning of June. According to the information we now have, we have to reschedule the event package intended mainly for families with children from August to next spring, says Marketing and Communications Director Maria Mroue at Messukeskus.

This spring Messukeskus has developed digital solutions alongside with live events where consumers can meet.

- In order to ease the worst yearning we organized a virtual Child Fair in May and it exceeded our expectations. We were happy that we were able to help our clients in a challenging situation. We naturally want to meet our clients as soon as possible at live exhibitions and we will do our utmost to arrange an even more fantastic Child Fair event package next spring, Mroue says.

Messukeskus prepares for the coming event autumn and plans the safety of events at a close pace. Everything from small details to interior layout of events as well as hand hygiene and face masks to renewing dimensions of hall and meeting room facilities will be reviewed.
