Cyber Security Nordic Award highlights top performer in cyber security

Cyber Security Nordic Award is presented for the 3th time at the Cyber Security Nordic event on 8 March 2022 in Messukeskus, Helsinki. The prize of EUR 10,000 highlights the importance of cyber security and encourages the development of expertise.

The Cyber Security Award is presented to an individual or an actor who has contributed significantly to the development of the cyber security industry, innovated new practices in the field or otherwise promoted cyber security and awareness of the industry in Finland and globally. The prize is donated by the Finnish Fair Foundation.

The Cyber Security Award increases awareness of cyber security among citizens and in all sectors of economic life. The importance of know-how in cyber security grows every year and the industry needs new professionals. The expertise in Finland is world class and the industry is developing strongly.

The award winner is selected by a professional jury with the following representatives:  Aapo Cederberg/CyberWatch, Sauli Eloranta/VTT, Kirsi Kokko/Business Finland,  Markku Rajamäki/EK, Jarmo Sareva/UM ja Anni Vepsäläinen/Messukeskus.

Award candidates can be nominated until 23 February through the Cyber Security Nordic website www.cybersecuritynordic.com.
Cyber Security Nordic Award was given in 2019 to Women4Cyber and in 2018 to Colonel (retd) Aapo Cederberg.

Cyber Security Nordic 2022 presents the newest solutions in cyber security for CEO’s, business decision-makers, experts and international visitors, 8–9 March 2022 in Messukeskus, Helsinki.
