The Helsinki International Boat Show 2025 will feature a wide selection of motor boats

The Helsinki International Boat Show, Vene 25 Båt, will showcase a diverse range of motor boats. The event, which is Northern Europe's largest boating exhibition, will take place at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre from February 7 to 16, 2025. A number of companies will showcase more boats than before, including a wide variety of the highly anticipated smaller motor boats. All the major motor boat manufacturers will be represented. "The boating season kicks off at the boat fair in February with a truly impressive number of boats", promises Kalle Mäkelä from Messukeskus, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

The Vene Boat Fair is Northern Europe's largest boating exhibition. Each year, around 400 boats are on display at the fair, along with a range of boating accessories and equipment, as well as products and services for fishing and water sports. Great emphasis is placed on the fair's program and the sense of community that is built during the event. "We collect feedback from visitors every year, and one of the recurring comments is that they particularly wish for more small boats at the fair. The audience also wants to see a broad representation of all the leading motor boat manufacturers. These requests will be met next February. Another request is to feature more sailboats, and the situation looks promising in that regard as well," says Kalle Mäkelä, Sales Manager for the boat fair at the Helsinki Expo andConventionCentre. "We have put in a lot of effort into the fair and listened to the wishes of both the boating industry and the visitors. In addition to new boats, many other exciting news will be presented next February."

Currently, participants are being sought for the New Life for the Boat competition, which will take place in conjunction with the fair, and registrations are being accepted for the Fishing Boat of the Show competition. The application period for candidates for the Save the Baltic Sea Prize will open at the end of October. Every year, journalists from boating magazines, along with representatives from various authorities, select the Boats of the Show. The boats are categorized into the classes of open boat, weekender or commuter, and cabin cruiser. Another new feature for the upcoming fair is a themed program aimed at those who are new to boating and want to learn the basics to get started.

Larger Exhibition Areas Equals More Boats

Oy Brandt Ab will showcase Faster, Silver, Terhi, and TG boats, along with Torqeedo's electric motors and Honda's outboard motors. Additionally, the company will present ePropulsion's electric motors, which are a new addition to Brandts product range. In February, Brandt's exhibition area will be significantly larger than it was last time. "We are significantly increasing our investment in the boat fair and will showcase more boats and outboard motors than ever before—over 60 different models of motor boats and about 50 different outboard motors will be on display. This time, we will also have many new products to showcase. The fair will feature open boats and cabin boats made from a variety of hull materials. We have boats for many purposes: for cottage owners navigating the tough weather conditions of the archipelago, for riverboat trips in Northern Finland, and for boating in the calmer waters of the Lake District. There is something for everyone, along with a wide range of options. We are happy to assist in choosing the right boat," promises CEO Antti Rapo from Oy Brandt Ab.

Inhan Tehtaat will return to the boat fair after a few years of absence. "We are truly looking forward to participating in the Vene Båt fair again. The boat show is an essential sales platform and an important event for showcasing our new products”, says Sales and Marketing Director Artturi Niittynen from Inhan Tehtaat. "We will showcase Buster, Yamarin, and Cross models at the fair in February. In our pavilion, we will present completely new models for 2025, the most interesting previous models, and the latest updates. Buster will also be represented in the fair's fishing area, where we will showcase a boat that is specifically equipped for fishing.”
