Showrooms Habitare x Helsinki Design Week – the featured companies and programme announced
The collaboration between Habitare and Helsinki Design Week aims to liven up the Finnish design scene and to accelerate the growth and internationalisation of companies and organisations in the field. The joint Showrooms Habitare x Helsinki Design Week series of events, to take place from 11 to 15 September 2024, will open the doors of showrooms to everyone, from professionals to design lovers.
In the Showrooms Habitare x Helsinki Design Week series of events, which are open to all, companies will open up their exhibition spaces in Helsinki city centre to present their products and services to industry professionals and members of the public who are interested in design, from 11 to 15 September 2024. In addition to having their doors open, the showrooms will have an evening program on Thursday September 12th.
The list of participating showrooms, together with a map, programme and schedule, has now been published and can be found on the websites of Habitare and Helsinki Design Week.
“The collaboration between Habitare and the city festival Helsinki Design Week will take concrete shape in mid-September this year, as design takes over the city! Numerous events will invigorate Helsinki in a variety of ways, creating commercial opportunities for companies in the field and inviting audiences interested in design, architecture and interior decoration to meet, enjoy each other’s company, be inspired, and make purchases”, say Kari Korkman, the founder and owner of Helsinki Design Week, and Tanja Pasila, business manager at Habitare.
The aim of the collaboration, also in the years to come, is to join forces to bring visibility and commercial opportunities to companies, and to highlight skilled experts and future talents.
