PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic event entity rescheduled to May 2022
PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic for professionals in the packaging, food and plastics industry has been rescheduled to 18 – 19 May. Gastro Helsinki for professionals in the hotel, restaurant and catering industry and Sign, Print & Promotion for the graphic industry have also been rescheduled to 18 – 19 and 18 – 20 May 2022. The events are arranged at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
The PacTec, FoodTec and PlastExpo Nordic events were scheduled for 16-17 March 2022. Due to the current restrictions and the challenging Covid-19 situation, it is difficult to organize professional events in March. Therefore, Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre has together with the partners decided to reschedule the event entity to 18-19 May.
”We are glad that a suitable date was found for the event in May. We consider it important that the event entity that earlier has been found successful, remains the same,” says Marcus Bergström, Business Manager at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, responsible for PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic.
The constantly changing situation with restrictions fuels uncertainty and is very challenging for both event organisers and visitors attending the events. Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre wants to act responsibly and ensure that all its customers have the opportunity for full preparation, commercial success and safe participation.
”The events are very important for the professionals within the trade. After a long break, we want to organize a meeting place, where one can study development within the industry, new products and information. We believe, that in May professionals will have the possibility to participate in the events, and this will enable successful professional events”, says Marcus Bergström.
Gastro Helsinki for restaurant and food professionals and Sign, Print & Promotion for the graphic industry, which are organized at the same time at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, will also be rescheduled to the same date in May. The three-day Gastro Helsinki is organized 18 – 20 May 2022.
The decision to reschedule the events was made together with the partners and Print&Media Publishing Oy, which organizes the Sign, Print & Promotion event.
PacTec, FoodTec and PlastExpo Nordic are organized in co-operation with The Finnish Packaging Association, Food and Drink Industry and The Finnish Plastics Association.
Registrations for the March events will remain valid during the May event. By registering once, you can participate in all the events organized at the same time.
