PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic competitions look for the most interesting innovations in the packaging, food and plastics industries – registration has started
The event entity PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic, that brings together professionals in the packaging, food and plastics industries, is currently looking for the most interesting innovations, products, services or methods in the field. The competitions have started, and the exhibitors of these events can now take part in them. The winners will be announced at the event at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 18-19 May 2022.
PacTec & FoodTec, the events for professionals in the packaging and food industry and the event for professionals in the plastics industry PlastExpo Nordic bring together professionals in the field to discuss current topics within their area and learn about what’s new in the business. New products in the industry will also be at the centre of event competitions this year, as PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic are looking for interesting or promising new products in their business: solutions, services, methods or products.
The most interesting novelty at PacTec & FoodTec and PlastExpo Nordic will be selected and awarded at the event on 18 May 2022. The winner of both competitions will receive a prize worth 2,500 € from The Finnish Fair Foundation. You can enter the competitions online at www.pactec.fi/the-most-interesting-novelty-contest. The competition is open to exhibitors until 1 May 2022. Contestants will be featured on the event websites, and participants will be able to present their novelties in a pitch performance on the event stages on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
The competition juries will select the winners based on the novelties and the pitch performances. The winners will be announced at the evening event on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
The jury for the most interesting novelty competition of the PacTec & FoodTec trade fairs consists of Antro Säilä (Managing Director, The Finnish Packaging Association and Editor-in-Chief of Pakkaus magazine), Marleena Tanhuanpää (Director, The Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Association), Laura Hyvärinen (Executive Director, Editor-in-Chief Elintarviketieteiden Seura and Kehittyvä Elintarvike magazine) and Juha Ala-Hiiro (Leading Expert, The Association of Finnish Technical Traders).
The jury for the most interesting novelty of the PlastExpo Nordic trade fair consists of Vesa Taitto (Managing Director, The Finnish Plastics Association), Vesa Kärhä (Managing Director, Finnish Plastics Industries Federation) and Niko Rintala (Development Engineer, LAB University of Applied Sciences).
PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic, the event entity for professionals in the packaging, food and plastics industries, invite visitors to network and discuss current topics in the industries. Themes of the PacTec & FoodTec events in 2022 include e-commerce and digitalisation, developing raw materials, responsibility, circular economy, legislation and as messenger of packaging, the programme of PlastExpo Nordic this year includes themes such as circular economy, new materials, possibilities of plastics and know-how and workforce.
