The first issue of Habitare Pro’s Nordic Quarters has been published – the content is guided by Jessica-Christin Hametner
The first issue of Habitare Pro's new digital publication has been released. Nordic Quarters will feature the most interesting design and architecture stories from Finland, the Nordics, and the Baltics, continuing Habitare's internationalization. The content of the quarterly publication will be guided by Jessica-Christin Hametner. Curated for professional audiences and design lovers, Habitare Pro will be held at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Center 10–14 September 2025.
Published digitally in English, Nordic Quarters will feature the most important design and architecture stories from Finland, the Nordics and the Baltics through people, products and spaces, whilst also offering current design highlights from around the world.
“We are excited to announce that Jessica-Christin Hametner will be guiding the content of our new quarterly publication Nordic Quarters. Our aim is simple. To be the source of the most interesting, relevant and up to date design publication coming out of the Nordics," says Hanna Laikola, creative brand manager at Habitare Pro.
Jessica-Christin Hametner is a writer, editor and creative consultant specialising in design and architecture. She brings an international perspective and extensive experience in publishing to Nordic Quarters. Over the years, Jessica-Christin has written for various titles, including Wallpaper*, The Modern House, and FRAME.
The upcoming publication dates for Nordic Quarters, which continues the internationalization journey of Habitare through stories, in 2025 are 17 June, 2 September, and 9 December.
“This project is a true team effort, and I am honoured to contribute, especially as someone who has long admired Finland's rich design history. Through our series of stories, we hope to share the best of Nordic design and architecture with a global audience, while also providing a platform for the next generation of creatives to showcase their work,” says Jessica-Christin Hametner.
