Cyber Security Nordic attracted record numbers once again
Cyber Security Nordic 2024, held from 29–30 October at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, drew over 2,000 visitors seeking knowledge, insights from international keynote speakers, and solutions from industry leaders. A record-breaking number of more than fifty companies were also present as exhibitors.
The agenda encompassed a wide range of critical topics, including European initiatives for secure and trustworthy digitalisation, strategies to enhance information security, the evolving landscape of cybercrime and law enforcement, approaches to cyberwarfare defense, and the complex interplay of geopolitics and cyber diplomacy. Among the event’s most anticipated speakers, lawyer and activist Max Schrems contributed to these discussions in his keynote speech, Privacy in a Global World.
“I was very pleased to see both technical experts and management represented among the visitors. The diverse range of exhibitors and event themes complemented each other, providing everyone with a more comprehensive view of cybersecurity. CSN was also the ideal platform to launch our new company identity and name,” says Ismo Paananen, CEO and co-founder of Cyberday Inc. Cyberday was among the companies first time in the event.
“It was clear that the event attracted a broader range of decision-makers from various companies than in previous years. Cybersecurity is becoming a crucial topic across all organisations, and we are pleased to see a record number of participants. The event continues to grow, with positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors alike,” says Anssi Rajala, Business Manager at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
