“The personnel truly went the extra mile to make this event a success.”
Hans-Peter Siefen, CEO of the Nordic Business Forum
Known for excellent customer experience and inspiring speakers, Nordic Business Forum is a two-day event that gathers people interested in business management, leadership and other current phenomena in business life from around the world to Finland.
Nordic Business Forum has been organised in Messukeskus Helsinki since 2014. It is constantly growing and emphasis is put on continuously developing the event. One example of this is the opportunity to live stream the event in full 360-degree view with the help of VR goggles. This gives business professionals all over the world the opportunity to enjoy the full experience virtually.
How did we succeedESHRE 2016
”Helsinki’s immaculate reputation as a congress city and Messukeskus premises influenced our decision. It was my pleasure to work with all of you and I think I can easily say that it has been one of the smoothest meeting organisations ever”
Bruno Van den Eede, Managing Director, ESHRE Central Office, Belgium
The world’s leading organisation in the field of health and reproductive medicine, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), held its Annual Meeting of the year 2016 at Messukeskus Helsinki.
It was the biggest congress of the year in Finland. The congress gathered nearly 10,000 visitors from over 100 countries, and the event utilised the entire Messukeskus Helsinki.
Our keys to success“Implementing a huge congress requires particularly close and detailed cooperation between all parties. When this is successful, so is the end result, and the participants have a memorable experience.”
Päivi Tikkinen, Project Manager, Messukeskus Helsinki
Summer 2017 the number one event was the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Congress. During the week before Midsummer, there were more than 8,100 congress visitors from over 100 countries in Helsinki.
The practical arrangements of the congress were coordinated by EAACI’s central office and its experienced partner network. It took care of everything from registration, accommodation, exhibition and connections with the event location and innumerable details. This enabled the Finnish hosts to focus on the scientific content.
Messukeskus has expertise for all needs
“Make sure that all team members feel useful and have a clear idea of the common goal and how their input affects it. It is important that everyone knows what part they play in creating something bigger.”
Venla Väkeväinen, COO, Slush
Organised in the darkest time of the year at Messukeskus Helsinki, Slush is Europe’s leading annually organised start up and investor event. Slush was organised for the first time in 2008 and it gathered approximately 500 visitors. In 2016 it gathered 17,500 people to Messukeskus Helsinki. Needless to say that growth has been immense.
The purpose of the event is to offer a unique experience to its visitors, to inspire, and to function as a platform for new companies to get new business partners and funding. The event brings together people with a similar mind-set. Slush is mainly organised by volunteers, by a non-profit organisation consisting of investors, entrepreneurs and students.
