Three of these congresses made their all-time delegate record in Helsinki and Messukeskus.
Helsinki has many new hotels under construction, expanding capacity in the area for larger number of delegates, while Messukeskus has carried out major renovations to its facilities and upgraded its technical and digital services to the highest level. Stardust at Messukeskus Helsinki
President Barack Obama, Chancellor Angela Merkel and Silvio Berlusconi – the security level is at an increased level this fall in Messukeskus Helsinki. President Obama was the key note speaker at the Nordic Business Forum. German Chancellor Merkel and Silvio Berlusconi attended the European People’s Party EPP Congress in November 2018 among other top European conservative leaders.
As you can see, Helsinki excels as a congress city – it is not surprising that President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin met in Helsinki with just two weeks’ notice summer 2018. Everything worked to perfection even with such a short time to prepare for the guests.
