Messukeskus is the biggest venue for meetings, congresses and other events in Finland. Investing in the refurbishment of the meeting rooms as well as the restaurants has paid off as the popularity of Messukeskus continues to increase.
Messukeskus Helsinki is the best-known event organiser in the Helsinki metropolitan area and stands out from its competitors with its vast array of different services and overall functionality of the premises. Messukeskus excels in reliability, expertise of its personnel, and in marketing when compared to its competitors.
“All our hard work in developing the premises further is now paying off. Networking is one of the key elements in international congresses and we offer the best possible premises for it”, says Congress Manager Paula Blomster from Messukeskus Helsinki.
The logistics at Messukeskus function well and the technology utilised is excellent. One of the strengths is the versatile nature of the venue; Messukeskus Helsinki offers 40 meeting rooms that can be altered according to the customers’ needs. Bigger congresses with over 1,000 participants can utilise the exhibition halls in addition to the meeting rooms to best meet the needs of each event. The already outstanding traffic connections from and to Messukeskus Helsinki were recently improved. Now it is possible to take a local train and reach the airport in only 30 minutes.

It brought 10,000 participants to Helsinki from over 100 countries. The centenary of Finland’s independence in 2017 will bring even more interesting programme to Messukeskus Helsinki. Also the internationally acknowledged World Science Fiction Convention, Worldcon arrives in Finland and Messukeskus Helsinki in 2017. Worldcon gathers scifi authors and thousands of scifi lovers under one roof for lectures, panel discussions and parties.
